Susan Sunderland DeFelice
Owner and President
Susan has her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has been practicing interior design for almost four decades. She is a professional member of ASID, NCIDQ certified and a Certified Interior Designer in the State of Maryland.
Erin Hackerman
Project Manager/Design Assistant
A graduate of Indiana University, Erin has extensive experience in purchasing, project management and client relations and puts these skills to work daily. Erin works closely with Susan, contractors and suppliers to help bring design projects to life.
Kathy Sunderland
Receptionist/ Office Assistant
It’s no coincidence that callers mistake Kathy for Susan on the phone. While Kathy was brought in for one week in 1997 to answer the phones, she has remained “on hold” for twenty five years helping her daughter, Susan with the day to day tasks of running an office.
Cheryl DiMenna
Designer/Draftsperson
While Cheryl runs her own company, she is no stranger to Sunderland Interiors. For years, she has worked in the field documenting spaces and works with Sunderland to create thoughtful space plan solutions and custom cabinetry. Cheryl has traveled the country to train and prep budding designers to pass their certification exam.
Rick DeFelice
As many businesses are a family affair, Rick acts as CFO and business advisor and remains Susan’s biggest fan. Rick is a Software Security Engineer at FMS Secure Solutions, LLC.
